This time we got the usual suspects, the boys from the mighty BudCulture crew, Reza, MH & Soundwize. Tons of new fresh bits & dubplates are going to be played. So watch out!

Dubstep over the years has reached many countries, starting in the streets of Croydon to dominating dancefloors worldwide, although in Malaysia it took a while to infiltrate the club scene, but from this came a crew who single-handedly pushed Dubstep to the forefront. Bud Culture founded by Tubby & Reza in 2009 were the first Dubstep crew in Kuala Lumpur, beginning with MH as the first crew member, then adding huge local talents such as Mac, Salim & Soundwize.

BudCulture has been on the frontline in the local Dubstep scene showcasing big names such as Walsh (Biscuit Factory Recs), The Bug, Goth Trad (Deep Medi), 12th Planet (SMOG), Skream & Benga. Bud Culture also took their nights to Singapore & Indonesia performing at the ‘Asia Future Music Festival 2012′.

We caught up with Reza to get the low down on Bud Culture including an exclusive 30min mix & interview with the Bud Culture founder.

BudCulture 3rd Year Anniversary

Bo! First off we wanna thank everyone thats helped us the last 3 years to get us this far. Without you there would be no Dubstep scene here in Malaysia. 

So, what have we got planned for the dance? A night of tons of bassheads and a heavy soundsystem.

As little as we may have planned, were basically focusing the night on just having a load of fun with everyone. 

Whos gonna be doing all the damage? Well we’ve got the foundation layer, MH. The spooker, Soundwize. The Boss, Tubby. And the Annihilator, Reza!

Alot of original music is gonna be debuted by the crew this night so if ur wondering whats been cookin in the studios of Bud Culture you shouldnt miss this. 

Again, we cant thank everyone enough for the amount of support you’ve shown us. Its been one hell of a ride and we cant wait to see what the next year has in store for Dubstep in Malaysia.

Yes yes! Bigups to all of you guys who came and support us at Future Music Festival Asia happening last few weeks! Mad respect! And now we’re back! with heavier sound & ridiculous dubs! What have we got in store for you for this night? All Crew, All Dubstep, All Night! 

So to start off the night we got MH with the Ambience and Mood based dubstep. Anything you havent ever heard from Dubstep, chances are hes playing it. 

Next up we got SoundWize. The king of Deep and Dark. This guy plays so much deep and dark dubs that he makes Freddy Kruger look like a kindegarten teacher. 

Lastly we got Reza. The Master of Grime. This guy has always got a bunch of dubs on him exclusive from the main heads from the UK. Watch out for some fresh bombs from the man him self cause this is gonna be a killer one!

The Generals are back!

Bop Bop Bop! After a nice LOOOOOONG break, the boys that started it all are back!

Ok so no messin about, what have we got planned for the evening? Well, a buttload of Dubstep and a ton of FUN! Dont really need anything else do we? Ok ok ok , if by any chance a hot girl decides to jump the subs and pull off some serious dancin up on dem, then by all means. Haahhaahha.

What about the line up? You got the Generals. MH, Soundwize, Reza and Tubby. Be careful, its been awhile since these guys have hung out and played together so its lookin to be VERY HEAVY!

As usual theres an RM10 soundsystem charge. This allows us to cover cost for the system you all enjoy feeling. NO “CAN I CHECK IT OUT FIRST BEFORE I PAY” or “CAN I GO GET MY FRIEND WHOS UPSTAIRS?” kinda goings ons. We’ve had to deal with too many scabby punters in the past.
